Yes, its SOE, and its also going to be a PS3 game, so how good it may be as a game is anyones guess.

As a piece of animation though, this is up there with the SWTOR ones.

Thats right - new contract means new Iphone 4.0 on its way to me tomorrow. I had the original Iphone when they first came out with work, so kind of get them - however I still need a list of apps from my geek peers, hit me up mofos !

Windows 7 Desktop Icons

Anyone else have dead space on the desktop where no icons can be put? It's the bottom row apart from the first column which allows an icon there (so I know there's room for one more row!). It won't let me put anything down there :(

MMO light, not sure how much rpg is in it, definitely multiplayer though , scifi , beta applications are being asked for.

I recommend watching the second video 'gameplay walkthrough' , combat is what it is, the in atmosphere ship flight part is very good, as you can see other players fighting on the ground as you pass over the landscape.

Edit to add, cos I'm old and forget, its going to be free to play with a shop to buy stuff.

New monitor recommendations

'Sup y'all, just after info and recommendations for monitors. I'd like 22" or larger; preferably 24" (insert penis joke here...or just insert penis here). Been scouring the internets for reviews and prices and so on but wanted to know what you guys were using/would buy now. Also my head is now full of random product codes and so on. Why can't they give their monitors logical names!

I've not really had the time to play many games for the last year and a half or so but I've now actually got the time, and a decent working internet connection, so what games do you recommend that've been out in the last 18 months?

I have played Dragon Age Origins and Awakening, FM 2010 (insert excel gag here), and Whatever the latest C&C was but that's about it I think.

I guess I'm into FPS, (MMO)RPG's and RTS mostly but I won't limit myself to just those genres.

Please note that inventory is currently NOT saved (In multiplayer servers) when you logout. However there is a workaround for this.
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?un8r9sg1857z04d (It's called Persister.jar)
Place it in your MineCraft game directory.
And execute Persister.jar ALWAYS when starting the game.

Persister saves your inventory clientside so it will always load when you enter the Multiplayer server of your choice.
Mobs are not implemented in multiplayer yet. But everything else seems to work except minecarts and minecart rails.

Battlestar Galactica: Cylons are incompetent

I've been watching all of BSG recently as i kind of missed it on TV when it was showing not having proper sky.

The Cylons seem to be rather incompetent in both ability and tactics. The could've blown the snot out of Galactica easily early on in the series before most of the Cylon infiltrators were discovered by merely setting up a bomb in the engineering section and taking out it's engines/FTL drive, but no they dawdled around spouting mumbo jumbo to peeps instead of doing anything useful.
Also in the episode when the cyclon boarding party landed on Galactica and tried to access damage control to feck around with the ships systems to destroy the crew. Why didn't this obviously planned assault carry a nuke with them? They should have just landed in the bay and then got into the main hull of the ship and detonated it killing everyone in a far simpler assault.

Cylon raiders are stronger, more maneuverable, and the ships/pilots themselves clearly should be able to react and think faster than any human pilot yet they do so poorly. Each Cylon raider should be able to take on so many times more Human pilots and come out victorious yet they do not.

Cylon sentinels. In a certain episode they said that these troops were immune to normal small arms fire and only explosive rounds hurt them. Yet you see all the time that normal ammunition works on them very well and only takes a single normal round from a pistol to kill them.
And.. what is up with their targetting? These must be the worst built machines ever, they can't hit the inside of a barn door. They waste automatic fire hitting nothing when they should be just hitting their targets everytime with inbuilt robotic accuracy.

Cylons are cool, yet they're portrayed as the stupidest most feeble adversaries who rely on weight in numbers.

Anyway, this has been bugging me and i just needed to vent lol.

Oh btw. I hope in later episodes that damned Roslin woman gets it, she is the most annoying character i have ever encountered. Everything about her makes me cringe. but the main thing is the stupid expressions on her face all the time.
